What, Why and Who

What?

We believe that the Bible can be understood by all people. 

We’re creating short, animated videos for each book of the Bible, that will help to bring the historical context to life. Engaging the Bible in context will result in a deeper knowledge of who God is and His truth. 
 
We also have a study guide that will help you go deeper through every book. These study guides have observation, interpretation and application questions; and difficult passage helps. 
 
All the resources that we are creating are translated into other languages. Our heart and goal is to provide Bible resources for the Body of Christ in countries where Christianity is growing quickly yet there is little to no resources. 

Why?

The Bible is the Word of God, and yet it can seem confusing and difficult to understand.
One of the reasons it can feel confusing is because we are thousands of years removed from when the books of the Bible were written. Our world and culture is radically different from theirs, and we can feel disconnected from the authors and the circumstances surrounding the writings of each of these books.

Here at the Bible Effect, we believe that the Bible can be understood by all people.  Our goal is to transport you back in time for each book, so that you can understand them and their world. As you do this, the timeless truths of God’s Word will become clearer, your relationship with Him will become more personal, and your life will grow to become more like Jesus.

We believe that the Bible is meant for every single person, and we want to empower you to understand these books for yourself.

Who?

Bryan

Content Writer

Since 2001, Bryan has been teaching in the School of Biblical Studies at YWAM’s University of the Nations. During this time he has trained 476 students from 63 different nations how to study the Bible inductively, for themselves, leading them through every passage of each book in the Bible.

Stephanie

Content Writer

Stephanie has taught in various Bible schools at YWAM’s University of the Nations since 2009. She pursued a dual masters in biblical languages and religious education in order to be better equipped to see disciples of Jesus of all ages and from all backgrounds established with a Biblical foundation.

Monika

Illustrator/Animator

In her personal journey as a believer, she struggled a lot with Bible interpretations. She wanted to have a solid ground to stand on, and not just following charismatic teachers and preachers. She now has the opportunity to equip others who are in a similar journey through her illustrations and animations that illuminate our teachings.

KJ

Producer

Turning ideas into “reality” is what gets KJ excited. She sets goals, gets things moving, and does it all with excellence. She has helped pioneer several ministries and programs in different fields of need internationally.

Joseph

Creative Director

Joseph embodies multiculturalism in how he sees the world, approaches problems, tells stories, and executes ideas. He has close to 30 years of experience in design and communications, and
imparts his knowledge and understanding through training others.
